Transfer Agreements
The sharing of research products (including, for example, software, cell
lines, transgenic animals, monoclonal antibodies) is critical to continuing
progress in science. It is essential, however, that the transfer of such
products either into or out of the institution be protected by a fully
signed Material Transfer Agreement. This protects the rights of the different
parties in terms of publication, freedom of research, confidentiality,
and intellectual property rights. Transferring UC Materials to Other Organizations.
